“
Mirror Runners” is an eye - catching game that not only requires terrific hand – eye coordination, but also involves bending your brain on interesting (and sometimes nearly impossible) puzzles. The game consists of two chambers, in each of which stands a stick man – the hero of our game. At the floor of each chamber is a red action pad. Using the movement keys (forward, backward and jump), each stick – man must be brought onto its respective action pad. When both stick men are on their respective pads, the stage is complete. But wait! It’s not called “Mirror Runners” for fun! Both runners respond to the movement keys, and mirror each other’s movement. When both the stages are identical, it’s damn easy. The element of toughness kicks in when the designs of both chambers are different. To cap it all, on various levels the floors are covered with spikes – touching them means instant death!
But yes, you have some help. There are different action pads which alter the stick men’s movement. Activating the purple pad, for example, causes “Reversal”. This means that upon pressing the movement keys, both stick men move in completely opposite directions. Similarly, the orange pad allows our hero to make a big leap. It’s a handy tool for clearing big obstacles. There are twenty – eight stages in the game, having varying levels of difficuty (marked by stars). One star means you will probably get it on the first turn. Four stars means you will probably be banging your head all night on the puzzle.
Watch out for the spikes!
HOW TO PLAY
Left Arrow: Move Left
Right Arrow: Move Right
Up Arrow: Jump

These movement keys are used to control the runners, who mirror each other’s moves.
Red action pads light up and become green when a runner steps on them. When runners in both chambers have activated their pads, press the “down” key to exit the level.
Orange pads allow the player to make high jumps.
Purple pads cause “Reversal” – the runners move in exactly opposite directions.
